These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Treeforestation website and any donation or purchase made through our platform. By accessing our website or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Treeforestation

Treeforestation is a US-registered organization that facilitates tree planting donations in partnership with the Ketrawe Foundation in the Amazon Basin. Our mission is to support verified agroforestry restoration projects that generate measurable environmental and social impact.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or making a donation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.

3. Nature of Donations

All transactions made through Treeforestation are voluntary charitable donations. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• Your contribution funds tree planting and agroforestry restoration activities in the Amazon Basin.

• Treeforestation does not guarantee specific environmental outcomes, carbon credit issuance, or tax deductibility unless explicitly stated.

• Field conditions, ecological variables, and operational factors may affect project timelines and outcomes.

4. Use of Funds

Donations are directed toward tree planting operations, nursery management, farmer partnerships, field monitoring, satellite verification, and administrative costs associated with running verified restoration projects. Treeforestation reserves the right to allocate funds at its discretion to best serve the mission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Treeforestation website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and data, is the property of Treeforestation or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treeforestation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to project delays, environmental outcomes, or loss of data. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of your most recent donation.

7. Third-Party Partners

Treeforestation works with third-party organizations, including the Ketrawe Foundation, satellite monitoring services, and verification platforms. We are not responsible for the independent actions, policies, or representations of these partners, though we carefully vet all partnerships for integrity and alignment with our standards.

8. Privacy

We collect personal information solely to process donations, issue certificates, and communicate about our projects. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

Treeforestation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Treeforestation is registered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

DONATION & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: June 26, 2026

1. All Donations Are Final

All donations made to Treeforestation are final and non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, funds are allocated toward active reforestation projects. Because our work begins immediately upon receipt of funds — including nursery preparation, seed procurement, farmer coordination, and field scheduling — we are unable to reverse or redirect individual contributions after the transaction is complete.

By completing a donation, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• A change of mind after the transaction is complete.

• Dissatisfaction with the tree planting certificate or communications received.

• Concerns about project timelines or field-level outcomes.

• Duplicate transactions made in error.

2. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions

If you believe a transaction was made fraudulently or without your authorization, please contact your bank or card issuer immediately. You may also notify us at info@treeforestation.org so we can assist in investigating the matter. Fraudulent or unauthorized charges are handled in accordance with your payment provider's policies.

3. Duplicate Donations

In the rare event of a verified technical error resulting in a duplicate charge for the same transaction, Treeforestation will review the case and, at its sole discretion, issue a correction. Please contact us within 7 days of the transaction date with proof of the duplicate charge.

4. Tax Deductibility

Treeforestation is a US Registered 501( c)(3) Organization but does not guarantee that donations are tax-deductible in your jurisdiction. We recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor to determine the deductibility of your contribution based on your personal circumstances and applicable local laws.

5. Corporate Partnerships

Corporate ESG partnerships and bulk donation arrangements are governed by separate partnership agreements. Refund and cancellation terms for corporate partners are outlined in the individual partnership contract. This policy applies to individual retail donations only.
